PILOTS SURVEY

Attention Pilots:

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Office of Aeronautics is conducting a statewide study that will document the economic impact and other benefits of airports in Minnesota. One goal of this study is to provide elected officials and others with information on Minnesota businesses that use aviation to improve their efficiency. Many Minnesota businesses own, rent, or charter aircraft. It is often a challenge to document business use, but you can help by participating in this survey. Information collected in this survey will be used to help identify and report on airports in the state that help to support different types of employers throughout Minnesota. Pilots also often volunteer their time and their plane to support charitable activities. Information on these “donated” flights also helps to show how airports benefit Minnesota. Information that you provide will be combined with other survey responses. We sincerely appreciate your support on this important data collection effort.

The online survey will be accessible through May 24, 2019.

We sincerely appreciate your participation in this survey. Should you have any questions, please contact MnDOT’s project manager, Chris Morgan (christopher.morgan@state.mn.us).
